What a great experience for our kids today! The Road Safety Education Officer helped Primary 7 pupils set up a Kids' Court in The Thompson Primary.
Traffic Police were out in force this morning to catch speeding motorists, who were then invited to come before a panel of our children. Our pupils delivered their questions and comments with sincerity and those drivers who came before the panel, were served a very real reminder of the seriousness of speeding near a school.
We would like to thank all who took part in the morning's activities and we will continue to work with the PSNI to protect our pupils.
