Today P6 had a Measures day.
Children were divided into 7 groups and rotated around 7 different measuring activities.
The activities were measuring out liquids, predicting if something would weigh more or less than 1kg and then checking it, measuring ourselves with a tape measure and comparing our measurements with each other, measuring objects with a ruler, reading scales or working out measure problems. We even managed to squeeze in completing a few games on the iPad.
A great day was had by all with a lot of discussion, learning, teamwork and laughter involved.
