P4 had great fun taking part in Egyptian Day today! They looked fantastic all dressed up as they took part in lots of Ancient Egyptian themed activities. The day began with an Egyptian activity sheet and planting their own crops which they can look forward to tasting in a few months. After break they made a board game, Senet and then mummified a tomato. It was placed in the store alongside a tomato that had not been mummified, to be compared and observed in term three. After lunch they made their own papyrus paper and finished the day by watching 'The Prince of Egypt'.
