P4 got involved in some practical maths this week as part of Maths Week! They started by measuring a range of items in the classroom using non-standard measurement. This lead to discussions about it being an unreliable method and how measuring with standard measurements would be much more accurate! We then took part in a number of lessons that allowed us to practise measuring lengths in centimetres and develop accuracy in doing so.
