P4 had lots of fun celebrating Money Week. Thanks to Mrs McGothigan, P4 enjoyed a maths lesson about budgeting, on Monday. They had to choose items they would need and items they would like in order to set up a 'Smoothy Shop' within their set budgets.
On Tuesday we had trip to our local shop to buy some treats. The children had the opportunity to select items at the shop and pay for them at the till independently. Each child also received a receipt so they could see how much they had spent and the change they got back after their transaction.
On Thursday we had lots of fun making rocket money boxes to help us save money at home. Don't they look fab?
