P1 have started a new topic in Maths this week - Subtraction. We went outside on Tuesday morning and made giant numberlines on the playground using chalk. The children worked hard to write all of their numbers the correct way round. Then the children took it in turns to make up a sum within 10. We took turns one child at a time to count back on the numberline by jumping.
